Finally caught up with the school organisation's activity prompts, and this time, I chose "obsidian beast". The first thing I had in mind for this was our creature concept which I haven't drawn digitally yet - the Obsidian Jelly.

Not really a huge beast...

This tiny beast belches toxic sludge as a defence mechanism, which is edible and sweet once "purified". Chop the beast itself - along with its toxic sludge and now it's a good alchemical and thaumaturgical ingredient.

It emits a high-pitched "BLEEEEH" when it starts spewing stuff.
